Enjoy films, programmes and gaming from bed with Deeplay’s collection of TV bed frames. Each design includes a motorised television lift concealed inside the upholstered footboard. At the touch of a button, the screen rises into view and lowers back into the frame when you have finished watching.

Our range includes Double, King and Super King TV beds in high-headboard, wingback and Chesterfield-inspired styles. Selected models also include gas-lift ottoman storage beneath the mattress, combining entertainment and practical bedroom storage in one upholstered frame.

Deeplay TV beds are supplied TV-ready. The television is not included, allowing you to choose your preferred brand and smart features. Always check the maximum screen size, depth and weight listed on the individual product page before purchasing a television.

How a TV Bed Works

A TV bed has an electric lift and mounting bracket built into the footboard. When activated, the mechanism raises the mounted television vertically into a comfortable viewing position. A second press lowers the screen back into the compartment.

When the television is hidden, the footboard looks like a coordinated part of the upholstered bed frame. This keeps the screen out of sight when it is not being used and removes the need for a wall bracket or separate TV stand.

A TV bed requires access to a standard electrical socket. Cable routing, connection points, USB ports and other technology features vary between models, so review the product specifications before ordering.

Ottoman TV Beds With Storage

An ottoman TV bed combines the motorised television lift with gas-assisted storage beneath the mattress platform. Lifting the base reveals a compartment for spare bedding, blankets, pillows, seasonal clothing and other bedroom essentials.

This combination can be useful when floor space is limited. The television is stored inside the footboard, while the compartment beneath the mattress reduces the need for additional storage furniture.

Standard TV Beds

A standard upholstered TV bed includes the motorised footboard lift without an ottoman storage mechanism. This option suits bedrooms that already have sufficient wardrobe or drawer space.

Without the lifting base, the frame provides a simpler configuration while retaining the concealed television compartment and upholstered design.

High Headboard TV Beds

TV Bed Sizes

Deeplay TV beds are currently available in three standard UK sizes. Single and Small Double TV beds are not included in the present collection.

Double TV Beds

A 4ft6 Double TV bed fits a standard 135 × 190cm mattress. It is the most compact TV-bed size in the current range and can suit couples, solo sleepers and smaller master bedrooms.

King Size TV Beds

A 5ft King size TV bed fits a 150 × 200cm mattress. It provides additional width and length compared with a Double while retaining the integrated television footboard.

Super King TV Beds

A 6ft Super King TV bed fits a 180 × 200cm mattress. This size suits larger bedrooms and provides the greatest sleeping width in the collection.

Not every TV-bed design is necessarily available in every size.

Choosing a Compatible Television

Do not choose a television based only on its advertised screen size. The complete width, height, depth and weight must fit within the footboard compartment and remain within the lift mechanism’s limits.

Before buying or fitting a television, check:

• Maximum compatible screen size

• Complete television dimensions

• Maximum television depth

• Television weight limit

• Mounting-bracket compatibility

• Position of power and connection ports

These requirements vary between TV-bed models. Use the exact specifications on your chosen product page rather than assuming one screen will fit every frame.

Because the television is fitted separately, it can be replaced later with another compatible model. Check the lift specifications again before upgrading.

Entertainment and Connectivity

Your streaming and smart features come from the television or connected devices you choose. A compatible smart TV can provide access to streaming apps, while consoles, television boxes and streaming sticks may be connected where the required ports and cable access are available.

Integrated speakers, Bluetooth, USB charging and media compartments are not standard across every design. Check the individual product specifications if any of these features are important to you.

Upholstery and Colour Options

Deeplay’s TV beds are available in a selection of upholstered finishes and colours. Neutral shades such as cream and grey are easy to coordinate with changing bedroom décor, while darker or richer colours give the headboard and footboard more visual impact.

The collection includes clean panelled designs, deep button detailing and wingback headboards. Available fabrics and colours vary by model.

Measuring Your Room for a TV Bed

TV beds usually require more length than standard frames because the footboard must house the screen and motorised lift. Measure the complete product dimensions rather than relying on the mattress size.

Before ordering, check:

• Headboard and footboard height

• Walking space around the bed

• Viewing distance between the pillows and screen

• Access to a suitable power socket

• Clearance required for ottoman storage

• Doorways, hallways, stairs and tight turns

If you choose an ottoman TV bed, confirm that the mattress platform can open without hitting walls, furniture or a sloping ceiling.
